About 2.1 × 1.4 m and 74 cm high. Allow roughly 50–60 cm of service access on one side so a technician can reach the equipment. A terrace corner of about 2.7 × 1.4 m is enough.
About 4.0 m long, 2.3 m wide and 1.38 m high — roughly the size of a compact car, and far smaller than a plunge pool. Larger models extend further for a longer swim.

Both need a flat, fully load-bearing base. A filled swim spa weighs several tonnes, so on older fincas and tiled roof terraces we check the structure first. A hot tub is far more forgiving and sits on most existing terraces.
Narrow lanes in villages like Deià, Valldemossa or old-town Palma, tight finca driveways and walled gardens are the most common surprise. A hot tub can usually be trolleyed in; a swim spa often needs crane access or a planned delivery route, which we survey before you order — so there are no delivery-day shocks.
Near the coast, salt air punishes cheap fittings, so we specify materials that last. In peak summer an efficient heat pump / chiller and a good cover matter more here than in Northern Europe.
Mallorca's hard water and strong summer evaporation make the right cover and water-care routine worth getting right from day one — they cut both top-ups and running cost.
Many older properties have limited supply. A hot tub usually runs off a standard dedicated connection; a swim spa needs a higher-rated one. We assess this on the site visit and coordinate with your electrician so everything is compliant.
